Today, we had a chance to talk to Patra team. They kindly tell us about the basic characteristics of good porcelain.

1. Microwave usage 
Porcelain must not be damaged or shipped after operating 15 minutes in a microwave rated 800 watt

2. Freezer to oven usage 
Porcelain must not be damaged after instant temperature change. After placing porcelain in the freezer at 5°C by 20 minutes, immediately placing porcelain in the oven at 240°C for 20 minutes. The more freezer-to-oven tests that have been carried out, the better quality the porcelain is.

3. Freezer to microwave usage
Porcelain must not be damaged or shipped after being kept for 24 hours in the freezer then immediately placed in microwave rated 800 watt for 15 minutes.

4. Dishwasher safe (durability) 
Porcelain must pass a test of mechanical dish washing resistance of utensils. After the test, porcelain must retain its original colour and there must be no scratching.
